Urban Decay Moondust Palette Review & Swatches

Urban Decay Moondust Palette Review & Swatches

Hi all and welcome back to my blog or if you are new then hi my name is Vinny. If you are already a follower then thanks but if not then pls follow via google friends connect or bloglovin as it means the world to me,and thanks to all my new followers too ♥♥

So here we have one of the most beautiful palettes in the world,
here are my thoughts on the new Urban Decay Moondust palette.
I purchased this from Debenhams here in the Uk for £35.00 {bargain}

This palette has eight brand new shades and considering each single Moondust shadow costs £14 each then to get 8 brand new shades for £35 is just a must.
This stunning palette is to celebrate 20 years of Urban Decay and they have an iridescent sparkle and shimmer but they are not too glittery.

The packaging is lovely as it comes in a beautiful cardboard box that looks like the night sky.
Then you open it to find the most gorgeous glittery glamtastic palette which is just a perfect size and inside contains a big mirror.Urban Decay always win me over with their creative beautiful and sturdy packaging as they go all out.
The shadows can be used dry for a more subtle look or wet or an intense colour pay off that is more like a 3D effect. It says it's best to apply with fingers, which is true,if you have a slightly damp finger it goes on so smooth and you can then blend the edges with a dry brush if need be.
Here are the fantastic swatches.

Please click on the photos to make them bigger, and see these bad boys sparkle oh my golly gosh i'm in love totally.♥♥
1.First colour is called Specter which is a shimmery light pink, great highlight colour.
2.Next is called Element and is like a two tone Rose gold type colour,a fave of mine.
3.Thirst across top row is Magnetic and is a gorgeous purple, love purple on my eyes.
4.Then last on top row is Lightyear a vibrant green, another colour i love on my eyes.
5.This is first on bottom row called Granite and is darker than photo shows,it's more charcoal.
6.Then this next colour is Lithium which is a mushroom brown type shimmery colour.
7.Is called Vega and It's a gorgeous bright yet dark shimmering blue.
8.Last colour is called Galaxy and this is a dark teal with an iridescent sparkle.

Ok this palette doesn't have any matte shades but i just reach for any of the Naked palettes such as Naked 3 and use Limit from that palette in my crease and and Strange for my brow bone.
Then back to this palette to make my eyes pop,you could use one colour all over your lid or mix two shades. For me i could quite easily rock this palette in the day just as much as at night or a party look.
I use with the eye Primer potion from Urban Decay too and it lasts the whole day.

So my final thoughts are as always Urban Decay never ever let you down, the colours are stunning and very pigmented,I actually had no fall out with this palette what so ever and for me it's not too glittery,i do prefer using damp for a more powerful colour pay off.
The packaging is totally dreamy and the price for what you get is fantastic.

    1. Thanks Zoe yeah lots of people either don't like wearing colour or glitter. Maybe they should do a naked glitter one. I think that would be so cool, lots of brows or autumnal shades too. Thanks for reading xxxx
